Ο Eklent Kaci έφτασε στους ημιτελικούς του World Pool Masters (Taka Wu / Matchroom Multi Sport)
Ο Eklent Kaci έκανε μια σταθερή απόδοση καθώς έφτασε στους ημιτελικούς του World Pool Masters με νίκη 7-0 επί της Nils Vision στο Γιβραλτάρ.
Στην απόδοση του τουρνουά μέχρι σήμερα, ο Κάσι αναμφισβήτητα έσπασε και έτρεξε τέσσερα από τα επτά του ράφια, χάνοντας μόνο μία μπάλα κατά τη διάρκεια μιας κυρίαρχης παράστασης εναντίον των Ολλανδών στο Europa Sports Complex.
«Αισθάνομαι υπέροχα», είπε ο Κάτσι. “Έπαιξα ένα σχεδόν τέλειο γκρουπ. Έχασε μια μπάλα στο πρώτο σετ και αυτό ήταν. Ακόμα και ως παίκτες, διασκεδάζουμε όταν παίζουμε τέλεια σετ, γι ‘αυτό προπονούμαστε τόσο σκληρά.”
“Αν δεν νομίζω ότι μπορώ να προχωρήσω, δεν θα έρθω εδώ. Φαίνομαι καλά, νιώθω καλά και παίζω καλά. Εάν μπορώ να το σπάσω καλά και να πάρω μερικά ρολά, θα δούμε αύριο. “
Νωρίτερα το απόγευμα, ο Αλέξανδρος Καζάκης νίκησε τον Αυστραλό Justin Sagic 7-3 και ο Shane Van Boeing έφτασε στη θέση του στον προημιτελικό με νίκη 7-1 επί του Fedor Gurst.
Ο Καζάκης θα αντιμετωπίσει τον Skyler Woodward στους προημιτελικούς σε μια επανάληψη των ημιτελικών του 2019, που κέρδισε ο Έλληνας 8-1
Θα ενταχθεί στον Woodward στους προημιτελικούς του συντρόφου Mosconi Van Boeing, αφού προκάλεσε τον πενταετή πρωταθλητή των ΗΠΑ Open με μεγάλη ήττα από τον παγκόσμιο πρωταθλητή Gorst.
Ο Van Buening έπαιξε ένα υπέροχο παιχνίδι, στερούσε τον αντίπαλό του από πολλές ευκαιρίες, και τώρα θα αντιμετωπίσει τον Max Leichner, νεοφερμένο στο Masters Tournament, στους προημιτελικούς.
“Έχω αποκτήσει περισσότερη αυτοπεποίθηση”, είπε ο Van Boeing. “Στην αρχή του αγώνα ήμουν λίγο νευρικός, αλλά τώρα έχω αποκτήσει περισσότερη αυτοπεποίθηση.
“Ξέρω πώς να κερδίσω αυτό το πρωτάθλημα. Πρέπει να ενώσω τρία ή τέσσερα ράφια μαζί και ίσως μπορώ να κερδίσω το πρωτάθλημα. Οτιδήποτε μπορεί να συμβεί σε έναν σύντομο αγώνα.”
